Summer in Blue River
A winter scene
Saddle mountain
Set with views of saddle mountain, the property is located just off the Yellowhead Highway, a two minute walk from the serene Eleanor lake and a short walk from the well stocked town grocery store. A drive-in, drive-out frontage affords plenty of parking for your vehicle/vehicles.
The cabin's 1400 sq ft is nicely arranged over 3 floors and is fully furnished. Entry to the property is off the front deck directly into a living room, windowed to both sides and front. A separate dining area with table and chairs and wood stove leads into a Hansel and Gretal style kitchen equipped with plenty of cupboards a cooker/oven, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee maker etc etc. Crockery and cutlery are also supplied.
Stairs from the hall area lead both down to the basement and up to the 1st floor bedroom.
The basement houses a comfortable, good sized double bedroom with both a double and a single bed, a large hallway area with access to outside separates the bedroom from a laundry room with washer and dryer. The upper bedroom, windowed and balconied at both ends allows you to wake in the Queen sized bed with the sun streaming in over superb views of the surrounding mountains.
This is a well loved family retreat and we would ask our guests to look after the cabin like it were their own.
The attractions of Blue River and its surrounding areas are many and varied. Maybe it's the call of the mountains or the lure of the fast flowing rivers or the calm of the crystal clear lakes, whatever your desires, by the end of your stay your photo album will be bursting and your memories filled to overflowing.
